Super Eagles of Nigeria and Indomitable Lions of Cameroun will lock horns in the Round of 16 of AFCON 2019 on Saturday, July 6 by 6pm local time. Both teams are known foes to each other.
Nigeria finished second in her group behind Madagascar. The Super Eagles’ dismal performance in the 2-0 loss to group winners, Madagascar has made some football pundits to have doubts about Nigeria’s chances against Cameroun. However, the last group game should not be used to pass a final judgement or analyse how the Super Eagles will play against the Indomitable Lions.
The Green-and-White boys know they have talents abound in them. They know they can get the job done if these three conditions are adhere to strictly.
1. Unity of Purpose
The Nigeria national team should all have the same focus, which is to play towards achieving the objective of beating Cameroun. They should not allow anything, be it material or immaterial to discourage them from achieving this goal.
2. Nigeria first
Being a patriotic Nigerian is not easy, however, there is so much gain at the end of the day for the players if they know they are playing first for the over 120 million Nigerians rather because of match bonuses.

Only a patriotic soul can crack a hard nut like the Indomitable Lions.
3. Brain, not body
Nigerian footballers are intelligent and smart, but the Camerounians are bigger in size. The ability to apply high intelligence against the physical strength of the Lions will bring glory to the Super Eagles.
As the clock ticks towards the commencement of the epic encounter, football-loving Nigerians are in high spirit to see the Super Eagles triumph over the Indomitable Lions.
