Borno State Organises Prayer Sessions To End Boko Haram Insurgency (Photos)

  • The raging fire of Boko Haram Insurgency is still burning in the Northeast region of the country, especially Borno state
  • Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, governor of Borno state has organised different prayer sessions to end the over decade long terrorism issue

A popular humanitarian and social welfare officer by the name Dogo M Shettima, who focuses also on the Northeast region of Nigeria has shared some of the photos from the ongoing prayer sessions in Borno to help fight Boko Haram insurgents and end insurgency using spiritual efforts.

Dogo M Shettima (@ShettimaDogo) posted the following with photos on Sunday, February 23:

“Mal muhammad Alh Isa Chairman Borno State Islamiyya Schools Association (BOSISA) began Prayers Session in all the 312 wards in the 27 LGAs of Borno State. In respect of the announcement made by @GovBorno @ProfZulum for Fasting and Prayers Session for restoration of peace in Borno.”

Dogo M Shettima also tweeted the following earlier on Saturday, February 22:

“Also remember to join us in fasting and prayers sessions on Monday 24th Feb 2020 in Borno as @GovBorno @ProfZulum urged everyone to join him.”

“Just a reminder: Pls keep on reciting Al’Kunut for the restoration of peace in Northeast Nigeria and Nigeria at large.”
