Area Controller of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) for Borno and Yobe States, Joshua Angbalaga, has given detailed information about news on mass recruitment programme by NCS.
Angbalaga informed journalists at an event in Maiduguri, capital of Borno State, on Wednesday, December 20 that the news were not true.
Daily Post learnt that the Area Controller stated that when the time is ripe for the agency to commence mass recruitment, it will let Nigerians know accordingly.
On the other hand, Angbalaga cautioned the general public to be careful of suspected hoodlums going about claiming that they could assist them to secure employment in the NCS.
The custom officer stated:
“When the customs begin to recruit, we shall inform you accordingly
“I assure you that anybody parading himself as having the power to help any young person come in is not telling you the truth.
“He is a lying tout.”
